Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how ME24 Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), company number 16701491, ICO registration ZC069669, uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Areela platform web portal at app.areela.com (the “Web Portal”). This policy should be read alongside the Privacy Notice for Trainer/Business Users (Document 1), the Privacy Policy: ME24 Limited (Corporate) (Document 1A), and the Privacy Notice for End Users (Document 2). This policy applies to the Web Portal. The Areela for Coach mobile application does not use browser cookies but may use device identifiers and local storage, which are addressed in the Privacy Notice for Trainer/Business Users (Document 1) and the Privacy Notice for End Users (Document 2). Corporate website cookies and tracking are addressed in the Privacy Policy: ME24 Limited (Corporate) (Document 1A).

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the website recognise your device and remember information about your visit, such as your preferences or login status. Similar technologies include web beacons, pixels, and local storage.

Categories of Cookies We Use

The Web Portal currently deploys only strictly necessary cookies. The cookie schedule below reflects the basic Cookiebot compliance scan of app.areela.com conducted on 24 September 2026.

At the time of the audit, the Web Portal deployed only the two Cloudflare security cookies identified in the table below. They support bot management, rate limiting and traffic management. Future Non-essential Cookies

No analytics, marketing or unclassified cookies were detected at the time of the audit. If ME24 Limited introduces any non-essential cookies or similar technologies in the future, including analytics, marketing or preference cookies, it will obtain prior consent in accordance with PECR and the UK GDPR before deployment and will update this Cookie Policy and any applicable consent management platform (CMP) accordingly.

Consent Mechanism

Because the current audit identified only strictly necessary cookies, no consent is required for the cookies listed above. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under PECR Regulation 6(4) and GDPR Recital 47 and will be set where required to provide the requested Web Portal functionality. If non-essential cookies are introduced, they will not be set until the required prior consent has been obtained. If non-essential cookies are introduced, the consent mechanism and CMP will be updated before those cookies are deployed, and users will be given a clear way to withdraw consent.

Third-Party Cookies

The cookies currently identified are set by Cloudflare via app.areela.com. Data associated with these cookies is sent to the United States through Cloudflare’s CDN infrastructure. This transfer should be read with the international transfer provisions in Document 9 of this suite and the applicable transfer safeguards. PECR Compliance (United Kingdom) We comply with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (“PECR”) as amended. Under PECR Regulation 6(4), strictly necessary cookies that are essential to provide a service requested by the user are exempt from the prior-consent requirement. Non-essential cookies or similar technologies require prior consent before deployment. ePrivacy Directive Compliance (EU Users) For users accessing the Web Portal from the European Union or European Economic Area, we comply with the ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC) as implemented in the relevant member state. Prior, informed, and freely given consent is required before setting non- essential cookies, in line with the Directive and the guidance of the European Data Protection Board.
